Willy J got his ears and right eye duct fixed today at Cook Children's hospital. The eye doctor placed a stent in his right eye duct which had been blocked since birth. After 11 ear infections and multiples sinus infections in 2014 the pediatrician finally agreed that it was time to see our ENT Dr. Paul Bauer. He is known as the "wizard of ears" in the DFW area and that he is!!! He was joined this time by Dr. Hunt who placed the stent in his eye duct. Start to finish we were only at the hospital 4 hours. Will, as always, was such a trooper. If you didn't see the blood draining from all of his orifices you wouldn't be able to tell that he had surgery today ;) The first thing he said when he woke up was, "night night." Once he got home he took a few killer naps and promptly told us three new words (go, cracker, and baby). Needless to say Amy and I were so proud! So grateful for the wonderful staff at Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth.
