Meghan's visit & July 4th

Every few years we get the special treat of Aunt Meghan coming to visit. The last time she visited Reid was only two years old but this year she had Reid (7) and his little sister Avery (3). We had a grand time with 5 children all under the same roof. We had to go with the flow and learn that some plans are meant to be changed. This year there were too many copperheads at the ranch to go out to Oma and Opa's so we decided to join the neighborhood festivities and watch the parade! The parade turned out to be lots of fun with the candy thrown and chance to see our neighborhood friends. Our group voted their favorite vehicle to be the donkey following behind the mule. Our second favorite was the trailer carrying the Brunner girls:) In between our many activities including Hurricane harbor, the Dallas Aquarium, Finding Dory, and swimming at the pool Mommy and Aunt Meghan got some much needed best friend time together.
